There are so many ways to make sausage and peppers and after many trials, this is our favorite recipe - simple ingredients, easy clean up and still maintaining all the flavor!
- 1 package Italian sausage (about 5 sausages)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil (or butter)
- Yellow onion, sliced
- 4 tsp Minced garlic
- 1 Red pepper, sliced
- 1 Green pepper, sliced
- 1 tsp Oregeno
- 1 tsp Basil
- Salt + Pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup White wine
- Rolls, condiments
- Medium/large skillet
- Baking pan

Preheat oven to Broil and place sausages on aluminum foil lined baking pan. Cook sausages in oven 10-15 minutes; flip half way through (so total of about 5-7 minutes on each side). Once sausages are done, lower oven to 350.

Melt oil/butter in the skillet. Add in the onion and garlic, and cook 2 to 3 minutes. Mix in peppers and season with basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Stir in white wine. Continue to cook and stir until peppers and onions are tender.

Add cooked sausage to skillet and place in oven at 350 for 5 minutes.
