We are IN LOVE, seriously, IN LOVE with this SIMply DELLicious dish. You will have dinner on the table in 15 minutes--from start to finish. Tasty and healthy, you will NOT miss Chinese Food Takeout after making our Honey Soy Chicken! Chicken Thighs are so juicy, but you can use this glaze on MANY different proteins-- Chicken Breast, Pork, Salmon, etc...
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 lb Chicken Thighs (Boneless & Skinless)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 2.5 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 clove Garlic (minced - roughly 2 tsp)
- 1.5 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- Cutting Board
- Large Non-Stick Skillet
-
Heat oil and butter in skillet over high heat, while cutting chicken thighs into bite sized pieces.
-
When the butter is melted, add in the chicken. Season with salt and pepper, then cook 7 minutes. (The number of minutes is approximately 7 for 1 lb of chicken but please adjust accordingly if you are cooking more chicken - the most important factor is to cook until it is browned.)
-
Add ALL remaining ingredients. Bring to a simmer and coat the chicken in the sauce until it is golden and caramelized (about 5-10 minutes)
-
Once the chicken is browned, Remove from heat. Serve with rice & broccoli for a complete meal.
Five stars for this Honey Soy Chicken! It’s quick and easy to make, and tastes delicious. I cook this frequently because the recipe calls for ingredients that I always keep in my pantry. This meal has become part of my dinner rotation for those reasons. I love making the sauce with chicken, but if you feel like having a vegetarian meal it’s also delicious with just broccoli and brown rice. Thank you Jenny and Tracy for this wonderful recipe!
