SIMPLY DELLICIOUS GRILLING SPECIAL (part 1): Today we're grilling with a World Series Champion! What what?! Yes, this very special edition is brought to you by Jenny's husband Will, serving up a true champion's dinner. These flavors are so delicious and definitely not your average plain old burger. 

Brown Sugar Bourbon Burgers
Ingredients
  • 1.5 lb Ground Chuck (80/20)
  • 8 oz Ground Sausage
  • 1 shot Bourbon or Rye
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • Salt, Pepper + Garlic Powder, to taste
  • Pepper Jack Cheese Slices (+ other toppings of your choice)
  • Buns
Instructions
  1. Fire up the grill!

  2. Combine ground beef and sausage

  3. Mix in bourbon, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce

  4. Shape into patties - you can decide the size, but make sure they are consistent so they grill evenly.

  5. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder

  6. Grill over medium heat 4 - 6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through. Add cheese slices to burgers 1 minute before cooking is completed.
