SIMPLY DELLICIOUS GRILLING SPECIAL (part 1): Today we're grilling with a World Series Champion! What what?! Yes, this very special edition is brought to you by Jenny's husband Will, serving up a true champion's dinner. These flavors are so delicious and definitely not your average plain old burger.
Brown Sugar Bourbon Burgers
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb Ground Chuck (80/20)
- 8 oz Ground Sausage
- 1 shot Bourbon or Rye
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- Salt, Pepper + Garlic Powder, to taste
- Pepper Jack Cheese Slices (+ other toppings of your choice)
- Buns
Instructions

Fire up the grill!

Combine ground beef and sausage

Mix in bourbon, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce

Shape into patties - you can decide the size, but make sure they are consistent so they grill evenly.

Add salt, pepper and garlic powder

Grill over medium heat 4 - 6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through. Add cheese slices to burgers 1 minute before cooking is completed.
