It all started when Jenny brought this appetizer to Tracy's house for a holiday and since that day, they both knew this recipe was a MUST for Simply Dellicious.  A super quick and easy deviled egg appetizer recipe that you can make last minute and look like a rockstar. Simple ingredients you likely have at home and a really easy prep that takes about 15 minutes. We even added a bonus ingredient that make these deviled eggs stand out next to the rest.

Deviled Eggs
Ingredients
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar (or other vinegar you have available)
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Mustard (yellow or dijon)
  • 1 tsp Pickle Juice
  • Salt + Pepper
  • Paprika
Instructions
  1. Hard boil eggs. Start by putting eggs in cold water and bringing to a boil. #KitchenHack - Add a tsp of vinegar (any type of vinegar works) which makes the shells easier to peel when they are ready. Once water is boiling, cover the pot and turn the heat off and let them sit for 10-15 minutes.

  2. While the eggs are cooking, make the deviled egg filling. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, pickle juice until combined and add salt and pepper.

  3. Once the eggs are done, run them under cold water so they are easier to handle and peel the shells. Gently rinse the eggs to remove any extra shells.

  4. Cut eggs in half, lengthwise, remove yolks and combine into the filling mixture.

  5. Fill the egg whites with the mixture and top with your favorite toppings. We use a sprinkle of paprika and crumbled bacon. See notes for our trick for a homemade piping bag for filling.

Recipe Notes

To make a homemade piping bag for filling, you can use a disposable zip-top bag or simple sandwich bag. Simply put the filling in the bag and push it to one corner, cut a small piece off the corner of the bag and there you have yourself a homemade piping bag.
