Bringing you another Simply Homemade (easy) Thanksgiving SIde Dish.  A traditional stuffing side dish is a MUST to accompany that delicious turkey you spent hours cooking.  But with all that turkey prep and everything else going on, make your life a little simpler by using this amazing easy thanksgiving stuffing recipe.

Not only is this easy, but it is seriously the most tasty and flavorful stuffings we've tried. This is one of our Simply Homemade recipes because we use store-bought herb flavored stuffing cubes, eliminating the step of slicing and drying out the bread. (Using the already flavored stuffing cubes also eliminates adding seasonings when you're cooking). Once you eliminate that step, the rest is easy as pie (we'll get to simple pies later). It's so easy we even added a bonus ingredient to give this thanksgiving stuffing ALL the extra, full flavor you are looking for on Thanksgiving - you guessed it, Sausage! Traditionally growing up we never had sausage in our stuffing but once we introduced this glorious bonus we never looked back.

Recipe Notes

We know there are a lot of things cooking at the same time for Thanksgiving dinner so if you are already using the oven at a higher or lower heat, you can cook this alongside the other items and adjust the time respectively (cook longer if it is on a lower temp than this recipe calls for or shorter if the oven is on a higher temp than this recipe calls for). The key is to check for doneness - the top should be golden brown and liquid should be completely absorbed.
