Simply Homemade Filled Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients
- 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
- 1 can Frosting, flavor of your choice (vanilla, chocolate or cream cheese work well)
Cooking Things:
- Cupcake Pan
- Mixing Bowl
- Paper Cupcake Liners (recommended) or Non Stick Cooking Spray
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 (or to the temperature indicated on the package of boxed cake). Line cupcake pan with paper cupcake liners or spray with non stick cooking spray.

Prepare cake mix following instructions on package. Fill cupcake liners 1/4 full with chocolate cake batter (about 1-2 tbsp) each.

In mixing bowl bowl cream together cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg until well blended, then stir in chocolate chips.

Add 1 teaspoon cream cheese mixture to each cupcake, and top with more cake batter.

Bake according to instructions on cake mix box.

Let cupcakes cool completely before adding frosting.
